The purple bob is adorable (and bangs are always a win for me), but with the long black hair... oh! Be still my beating heart! She looks like a gorgeously green embodiment of Morticia Addams!

Ooh, and once again I wish that I could get hold of The Addams Family Giftset. I mean there's a couple that aren't too badly priced on eBay at the moment, but at the moment I do not have the money. I will own Morticia and Gomez at some point!

I think the purple adds a little edge of rebellion against what people are pushing on her? Though the black does add to a gloomy Goth vibe...

Barbie looks more like Elvira than she does Morticia... but no complaints there!

And Ken-Gomez looks like Edgar Allen Poe!

I have no idea! I found out ... a good few years ago about this set. Can't even remember where. It's just a constant thing that it seems to appear online when I do not have the money for it. 

I think Barbie-Tish does not have articulated wrists, but let's be honest, elbows is most important!

I am hoping that I will be able to bring Matilda with me. We will need to wait and see.

Well, Dorothy did kill the witch's sister, so her desire for revenge is somewhat legit.

I’ve read the whole series. They’re quite good. The same author’s Stealing Snow, a take on The Snow Queen is also not too bad.

I've read the first few and I do like it. It's not unusual for a dark take on the fantasy lands, and the author does a good job with what they're doing. There's bit of it I really like a lot and wish could have seen ex.plored more but I don't want to spoil it for anyone here.

Oh, I haven't read that one. It's a good series - it was nice to see a darker take on Oz for a relative change, it's usually always Wonderland. ... Neverland is plenty dark on it's own in the original novel.
