I was aware of the "impossibly muscled" male figures...
I'm hoping I do not have that many of them. Most of them are together in a tub, but there are a few others scattered around. I'm curious to see what the final count will be, but I'm actually stopping myself from counting them ahead of time. The final tally will be news to us all!
I wonder if the "impossibly muscled" figures remind you of some of those brawny sailing men you met on your sailing adventures? I'm sure that all tall ship sailing men looked something like Kirk Douglas in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. And they probably had a whale of a tale to tell ya, lass!

An extra challenge for the month. The tentacles behind is a bit concerning - does he know that they are there.

The Vespa is an excellent prop for the demon ladies.

It seems to be an excellent prop for everyone ^^ The girls seem to be fascinated by it
Thanks for the tip about its manufacturer being European davidd! I've had a quick look yesterday - sadly they are surprisingly ex-pensive (but even more ex-pensive here in the one single shop that locally sells them), so I'll just continue to walk with an eye open. Or I'll try to actively seek one out the next time I have a chance to go to Italy (which I really hope will be soon. Italy is exactly where we were planning a road trip last spring, right before the whole world flipped a finger at international travelling Some of my fondest travel memories relate to Italy, and I'd love to go back there sometime soon).
I'm a bit confused by this picture - are the girls 1:12 and the Vespa 1:6? Or is the Vespa also 1:12, and still seemingly OK in scale with 1:6 dolls you've shown before?

I'm wondering how the wings factor into it... does the lift they provide increase speed? Or do they get to a point where they can take off and fly with the Vespa...?

Indeed they do! Have you ever read Vroom with a View (2003) by Peter Moore, about touring Italy on a 1961 Vespa motor scooter?

Because as we know, A Doll A Day is not in itself sufficiently challenging.
In general, tentacled creatures do not pose a significant threat on dry land.
In general.

Yes, as you have demonstrated, motor scooters and dollies make an excellent combination.

Ah! Yes! I have corrected the caption. This is a 1:12 Vespa for the 1:12 girls. The 1:6 figures have their own Vespa in 1:6 scale. Spoiled dollies, aren't they?
I may need to add one more 1:12 motorbike. It really is quite an excellent little model and it fits the figures well.

I've seen your blog posts. Not only are most of the sailors scruffy, a significant number of the mighty sailin' men are girls! Okay, women!
I was slightly acquainted with a guy who inherited a million dollars and spent $750k of it purchasing a sailing catamaran. After retiring from his lucrative career as an airline pilot, he would spend four or five months of the year sailing the Mediterranean on his catamaran. The rest of the year he leased the boat to a sailing charter company. Clever businessman, managed to make the boat pay for itself, or at least cover ex-penses. But... at 300+ pounds and 60-odd years old, he was not exactly a Kirk Douglas type, either.

Identical twin!
I’m actually amazed she can fit into Jades outfit, from my (limited) e erience, Bratz outfits don’t fit a lot of others. Or maybe I don’t have a wide variety of doll types.
And intrepid e lorer Taerra looks ready to face down aliens with her crystal skull.

Oh --- I see what you did there I haven't even noticed it isn't the same Vespa. They are spoiled indeed But I think that's true to any any all of our dollies here
Oh wow, Alternate Universe Jade looks great - and I'm also amazed she can fit into the original Jade outfit (and she doesn't look so much like a Christmas elf as her original version does), considering Bratz clothes are sometimes too small even for Monster High O_O This must be a more stretchy one then - that, or the 1/6 Phicens are actually smaller than I thought.

This particular Bratz outfit is quite stretchy, and the S26/27 TBLeague body is much more petite than the other bodies in the line. Obviously the full length top becomes a crop top when stretched over the larger body. The skirt is almost but not quite able to fasten in the back. The vecro fastener pops loose after a moment.
5 February 2021 – PHICEN FEBRUARY... is briefly interrupted:
Yeah, well, there were two seamless figs in the motor scooter pic, so we're actually a day ahead, right? I spent until late last night and a bit more time today finishing up a photo-story response to a topic on another forum – this one:
https://actionmanmobileops.forumotion.co...l-training
... so I'm posting the photo-story for today's A Doll A Day.
Also, PHICEN FEBRUARY is not exactly rocketing to the top of the Hit Parade.
The premise behind this photo-story: Lieutenant Takahara and her all-girl army are offering a Post-Apocalypse Survival Training Camp (as posted on the Action Man Mobile Ops and One Sixth Figures forums), and have invited other forum members to have their characters apply to participate. Wild Hearts Crew Kenna Roswell has elected to submit a recorded video application:
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Nice lighting on Taerra. I wonder where she's ex-ploring.
The twins are fun. And what a neat little bedroom set.
So that's a surprise, finding out that's her dad Sounds like he has been a little busy. Nice touch to have him realize how fast his lil girl has grown up. I have a feeling she'll be nagging him to teach her how to blow things up.
Wow, making these photostories must be a lot of work!

That is an excellent photo story.
Dads never realise how quick their kids grow up, especially if they’re not around all the time.
I like all the fan-posters behind the couch, I was trying to work out who they all are - it’s 79s/80s going by the floppy hairstyles.
So will Kenna be successful in her application to “summer camp” (that made me laugh a lot)? Or will dad block her application?
