Another really dramatic version of Lala.
Dramatic and romantic! A stunning photo of a stunning figure from the Monster High line. Was this figure the high point for Monster High? Very possibly.
Wow!!!! She's fantastic and this is a great shot!
Thank you, everybody!

Day 33

Next beauty to score 7 pics is The Cleo. I mean, Cleo from Origins 2pack.

See she is just stunning. You really manage to bring out the best of the dolls in your pictures. I wish she had appeared somewhere in my distribution area

I believe the Cleo-Ghoulia "Origins" pack was mail-order only, direct from Mattel, or it was also available at San Diego Comic Con.

This is a stunning version of Cleo de Nile, particularly considering that she is from the "reboot" era. The photo beautifully enhances the richness of the golden highlights.
Thank you both! Yes, this 2pack was exclusive to Mattel online store - they have originally been intended for SDCC, but MH was already dying and Mattel decided not to show it at Comic Con, so it became store exclusive instead, and they wouldn't even ship it internationally. Also, there was only limited amount for SDCC and Mattel promissed that they'd make more (since the pack isn't SDCC exclusive anymore) and re-open sales in september of the same year, but they never did, letting down lots of people who missed it first time around.

Luckilly, a US-based member of Monster High Arena forums was kind enough to order it for me and send it to Czech Republic, which I'm infinitely grateful for, it's one of my favorite doll-collecting memories and I feel blessed to have these girls in my collection! By the way, eventhough they came out after G2 took over, they're on G1 bodies and, except for those gorgeous side-glancing eyes, which are one-off thing, they have their G1 screenings!
She is lovely and worthy of being an exclusive

So no molded-on wrappings on Cleo? Now I'm feeling badly that I didn't purchase the set from Mattel when I had the chance.

That's a fun story about how you managed to acquire the set. Pretty sad, though, that the set never made it to SDCC.
Lejays - thanks! Both Cleo and me agree with you wink

davidd - nope, no bandages on her body and she has that lovely arched back and delicate slender limbs. Ghoulia too (well, of course. Reboot killed her, so there's no such thing as G2 Ghoulia). They're called G2 only because they were released after the 'generation switch', but they're true to original MH design in every aspect. It's a truly exceptional pack worth getting, if you ever get a chance, don't miss it!

Day 34

Next up are FdC Frankie and her hand, main characters of last year's milestone pics.

Your Freak du Chic photos invariably make the figures look better than they do in real life. Yes, the figures are nicely detailed with interesting designs, but your photos bring their freaky chic-ness to life in an intriguingly eerie and mysterious manner.

That is good information about the Cleo-Ghoulia "Origins" figures. They're still fairly readily available on eBay... at three times the original Mattel store price. So not unobtainable... yet. And no more ex-pensive than a new Pullip doll.
Frankie looks amazing
I’m so glad Frankie found her hand, she needs it to prop on her hip.
Frankie looks so sassy!
I think my favourite Frankie - I love this whole line actually
