I can understand why you'd reach out to grab her, she's a very stunning doll. Only two years of photography? Your skills are amazing!
She is stunning, and not surprising you were attracted to buy her, given the gothy tendencies of a lot if the other dolls in your collection.
She is gorgeous, and made especially so by your photography.

Hahaha.... yeah... that's the way it goes. I would never have believed I'd be an obsessive doll photographer, a few years ago. But... LOL You certainly have been entertaining everyone with your varied collection.
And the zombie mermaid is cool too. She looks like she's floating in the depths, and yes, it does look a bit like a shark bite.
The Scarily Ever After stories are kinda funny, although the poetry's painful. The lost shoe AND foot made me LOL. LOL
Thanks guys! I've developed quite a migraine, so I'll tell you about Alura and my ex²perience with photography and reply to your posts once I can actually see what am I typing...

Day 145

The Invisible Guy makes another (dis)appearance.

That hat is really tall looking, it's awesome.

As is he. I like the way his eyes peep out from behind his hair.
Four score and seven years ago....

LOL
It's rather remarkable how you make all these low-light photos work.
Feel better!
That hat is amazing! I used to wear my fringe like that - it used to tickle my nose terribly smile
That is a monster hat!
So, about my photography (as I promised) - long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (back in college in 2009)...
During the war that was the first semester, Neon took a course on photography,
and won enough credits to be allowed to continue her fight in the second semester...
And she hasn't really touched photography ever since,
except for a few times when she needed to take photos pertaining to her other hobby (that's when she got the tent and lights).

But in 2017, I was eagerly stalking the first A Doll A Day Challenge thread on MH Arena, and watched the legendary Lejays complete the whole damn thing! I decided to give it a go and in 2018, I started the ADAD 2018 thread on MH Arena and that's when I started messing with photography on a regular basis, dusting off what little I remembered about lighting etc. You know the rest!

As for Alura, I really wanted Lunatic Queen, but also had Alura (and many others) on my wishlist. LQ wasn't in stock when I finally decided to take the plunge, and some people said that Alura will sell out soon and she won't come back after that, so I decided to get her first. Turns out I would have managed to get her even if I waited for LQ and got Alura as my second, haha.

His eyechips are great. They really catch the light quite nicely.

No, he's not Abe, and don't confuse a poor European with such enigmatic quotes! How am I supposed to know quotes from things like the Gettysburg Address! LOL

This guy made me think about the scale of Pullip hats a lot. Since their heads are 1/3 and their bodies are 1/6, finding a good balance can get tricky. I don't mind all the Mad Hatters with their giant hats, because that makes sense, but Sebastian in Black Butler is supposed to have just a normal tophat, so maybe they could have made it smaller...

Day 146

Get yourself some silver and a lot of garlic, because it's Dracula Day!

Such stunning vampire ladies. CE Draculaura looks like she's putting together her own little coven, with Elissabat and Lala being happy to join
She looks like she could be their mother, like taking a family portrait together but the mom wants to be the center of attention.Especially since her dress is so extravagant.
Nice vintage effect. They look quite ghostly.
They look like they can be a part of the Addams Family. They look so dramatic. GORGEOUS dolls!
