What a lucky find. Have they had many photo adventures with you or do you keep them stowed in their package?

This is the second photo since I've had them, which is several years now. Both times were only partly opened, as seen here. I am hoping... or planning... to one day have a suitable display cabinet, at which time I will open the package and set everything up.
They’re quite cool, and I can see how they’d be rare.
They’re lovely, and I hope the display cabinet happens sooner rather than later

4 March – Pinky Street PC2026 Summer Wars Natsuki Shinohara
Chaaaarge!
Determination is her middle name!
So this is the girl who will stand her ground. If people tell her to move, she plants her flag, looks up and smiles: "no, you move."

She's a strong looking one, I like her.

5 March – Pinky Street PC2006 Street Fighters Chun-Li and Sakura
Ah, two of the most awesome fighter girls ever. They look ready for a brawl! Are they fighting each other or will we meet their opponents?
Badass!
Oh yeah, they’re ready to kick arse!
Another cool interesting set and colour coordinated background with random items! And Natsuki looks ready to cheerfully conquer. smile
A change of pace today from the cavalcade of Pinky Street figures:

6 March – TBLeague (Phicen) 1:12 Scale Figure (Head Detail)

I've been curious about the "seamless" (no external joints) figures by Phicen for a while, but the relatively high price for a 1:6 scale figure put me off.
Actually, what really put me off (yes, really) was that the "highly detailed" seamless figures kinda seem more like "fetish accessories" than dolls or action figures.
But I've seen a number of action figure (GI Joe and Action Man) photographers making good use... non-prurient use, that is... of seamless figures in adventure dioramas.
When TBLeague (new name for Phicen, apparently) recently released a 1:12 scale seamless figure for a considerably lower price than the 1:6 figures (between $30 and $40 USD), I decided that this might be an opportunity to see what they're like.

So far, the "medium bust" figure in "pale" skin tone is the only figure widely available.

The head is nicely sculpted and features rooted hair.

I have not yet removed the figure from the packaging.
1/12 scale?? I can't wait to see more of her. Man, I have my dolls out of any packaging sooo fast.... LOL
I've seen those (very eggspensive) figures & bodies on eBay and they are interesting. I've never seen the teeny one. Really looking forward to hearing what you think about the poseability, durability, realism, etc. etc. It sounds amazing that they could make such a detailed articulated figure in that scale.

{Edit... went off to look at a review. It was noted the hands/feet are made of different material than the body, which made me wonder if the sort of melt that plagued Groove type 2's would ever be an issue. Probably Phicen (or anyone?) has better quality control....?}

(Better be careful where I read this... Sunsette & the PTFCo minis will be eyeing new bodies xp )
