Oh, the dolls that save the day! How grateful I am to have them!
Carly clearly is the one who goes along to cheer everyone up.

Yes, she's always cheery and chipper! Or at least, she always looks cheery and chipper!
It's probably the drugs coffee and sugar.

It is a thankless task here in the Dungeon, but yes, somebody has to do it.

Yes, those dependable stalwarts are the true heroes of our Doll A Day Projects, aren't they?

Or to annoy everyone to the point where their heads eksplode.

Actually, in my Toy Universe, Carly is usually short-tempered, sarcastic, and snide.

16 July – Wild Hearts Crew Jacy Masters and Kenna Roswell on the shelf at Walmart

I found Kenna Roswell at Walmart today. The Wild Hearts Crew launch is looking even less promising a week after I first spotted Jacy in the store. Today, there were 12 Kennas and there were still 12 Jacys. Unless the shelf has been restocked, which I doubt, there have been ZERO sales of the Jacy doll in the first week. I don't know how long Kenna has been on display, but her shelf section was packed tightly, front to back, with no sign that anybody had bought one or even looked at them.

They were on separate shelves with other products in between. I shuffled the dolls around so I could get this pic of them together.
I am really liking the strong individual looks of these girks, but it would appear like they not doing so well? Idk, it can be harder to tell with retailer based exclusives
I wonder if there going to have a web series I've seen some new doll lines but they haven't impressed me all that much. Last thing I looked at were the L.o.L surprise big sisters.
Pretty girls! I'm afraid that relying solely on instagram hurt their marketing, though.
Cute, I like their outfits, but I don't think they'll ever make it out here.
Maybe it's just me, or the lighting here, or....?, but my first impression of Jacy in this pic was 'drag queen' xp LOL
Disappointing for a new doll line to not sell well, but, maybe it was restocked?

I think I talked to Carly this afternoon! One simple question for the bank; you can't direct-dial the branch anymore, and the call-center person I got sounded like she was rolling around on the floor in glee; I never heard anything like it. NOBODY loves a call-center job that much?!!? I want some of what she's drinking LOL

"Girks" ... a typo, or slang for "geek girls?" I hope it's the latter. If not, it should be.

(Okay, I looked it up on Urban Dictionary. Probably shouldn't have, but now I'm more informed.  Sweatdrop )

I did not see any reference to a web site or YouTube channel on the packaging. Usually a web series would be prominently advertised on the box somewhere.

I'm wondering if Instagram marketing as a "thing" in general is fading in effectiveness? Reading through the comments on advertising posts is usually pretty entertaining... if you find sarcasm and snark to be entertaining.

I will be surprised if the entire line even makes it into general circulation here in the States.

Okay, you said it first, so now I merely need to concur rather than mentioning it myself. That was absolutely my first impression when I saw the Jacy doll in the store last week. She reminded me of the actor/actress Divine, who appeared in several of John Waters' films.

I know that adult collectors are always enthusiastic about seeing "different body types" in playline dolls, or dolls that supposedly represent a more realistic figure, but I doubt that many kids will be enthusiastic about a "chubby drag queen" doll.

17 July – "Where in the blazes are we?"

I dunno, some kind of action figures. I got 'em on eBay. The uniforms are very detailed. The soldier at screen left supposedly represents General Patton of Second World War fame.
They are amazingly detailed. Really impressive - what scale are.they?

(Yeah, it was a typo. Typing on my Kindle often leads to them)
The guy on the right looks like he got distracted by some other doll or toy... (or else the Amelia army is in that direction?)
Ha... yes, perhaps you should introduce them to the Amelia Air Force.

Yes, they could be their ground cover.
Awesome vintage-looking photo!
@davidd .-. I didn't know that it didn't say it on the back (well because I don't have doll)well rip to not having one.I actually like webseries for dolls even though they are so short which sucks.
